Ardmore’s 8th Annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

Date: April 18th, 2020

Time:  9AM to 2PM

Place:  City Hall South Parking Lot Located at 23 S. Washington


ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:

  • Paint, paint thinner and other solvents
  • Mercury, pesticides/herbicides and pool chemicals
  • Household chemicals, cleaners and bleach

TRANSPORTATION SAFETY GUIDELINES:

  • Bring items in sturdy containers and boxes
  • If possible, keep items in original labeled containers
  • Do not mix items together; this can be explosive or gaseous

UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS:

  • Commercial waste from businesses
  • Ammunition and explosives
  • White goods such as refrigerators and air conditioners containing gases that need removal
  • Stoves, washers and dryers

NEVER:

  • Pour harmful hazardous waste down home plumbing systems unless the product was made for that purpose
  • Pour harmful chemical products on the ground or into storm drainage systems
  • Dump hazardous materials in the environment
