Operation Pride

The City of Ardmore operates an Operation Pride bulky waste collection for residential dwellings on City Water Service and within the city limits. The city will collect and dispose of bulky waste from residential dwellings which is placed at the curb in front of the residence adjacent to the public street. No pickup will be made if any vehicle is parked in the street obstructing the debris. Pickup is scheduled approximately every 8 weeks. Items are to be placed at the curbside no earlier (or later) than the weekend just before the scheduled Monday of collection. This schedule is subject to change due to demand, but items must be at the curb/road side by 7 a.m. to ensure pick up. We will pick up within 5 working days.

Operation Pride Drop Off Center
For your convenience the City of Ardmore provides the additional services of the Operation Pride Drop Off Center. Residents can take their bulky items for disposal to the center to avoid the delay incurred with every other month curbside collection. A copy of your water bill and driver's license must be presented at the Drop Off Center for verification purposes.

Center Hours & Location
The Drop Off Center is open Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. - Noon, and 1 - 4:45 p.m. The center is closed on Sunday. It is located 1 mile east of the Ardmore High School on Veterans Boulevard to Refinery Road and 1 block north to Carol Brown Boulevard. For further information or to answer any questions please call 580-226-8855.

Ordinance Violations
Leaving bulky items out for extended periods of time makes our city look unsightly and defeats the purpose of Operation Pride. The Code Enforcement Officer will contact anyone violating the ordinance instructing them to remove the debris. If the property owner does not comply, the city will have the items removed at the property owners expense. The cost of removal (a minimum of $75 per load and $30 administration fee) will be added to the water bill.
